1.     Heavy polling in Bengal Phase 2

West Bengal recorded very high polling in Phase 2 of Assembly elections, with 92.6% turnout across 142 constituencies. This indicates intense political mobilisation and voter enthusiasm. The ruling Trinamool Congress alleged that BJP tried to “rig” polling at Bhabhanipur, while BJP complained of intimidation and obstruction by Trinamool workers.
