Refund & Cancellation Policy
This policy applies to paid Premium subscriptions purchased on PrernaForIAS.com, operated by Aaj Legal and Management Consultancy LLP. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to the terms below in addition to our Terms of Service.
1. Plans & Payment
Early Supporters can also buy the one-time CSAT upgrade (lifetime access to all full CSAT GS Paper II papers). It follows the same terms as the plans below; if a refund is approved, the account returns to the Early Supporter plan.
We offer two paid plans: Premium Annual (valid for one year from the date of purchase) and Premium Lifetime (a one-time purchase valid for the lifetime of the platform). All prices are in Indian Rupees and are subject to GST at the applicable rate, shown at checkout before you pay. Payments are processed securely by our third party payment processor (currently, Razorpay); we do not store your card or banking details. A GST invoice is emailed to you after every successful payment.
For ebooks (ebooks.prernaforias.com), the same payment processing applies to individual eBook and bundle purchases — prices are in Indian Rupees with GST added at checkout, each a one-time payment with no subscription attached.
2. No Auto-Renewal
Every payment on PrernaForIAS.com is a one-time payment. We do not set up recurring charges, auto-debit mandates, or automatic renewals. When a Premium Annual plan reaches the end of its term, your account moves to the Free plan. You will need to renew to restore access to premium features.
3. Cancellation
Because there are no recurring charges, there is nothing to cancel: your Premium access continues until the end of the period you paid for, after which it lapses on its own. If you wish to stop using the platform earlier, you may simply stop — no cancellation request is needed and no further amount will ever be charged.
4. Refunds
Premium subscriptions provide immediate access to digital content and are generally non-refundable once activated. We will refund you in full if you were charged more than once for the same subscription, or if your payment was charged but Premium access was not activated on your account and we were unable to activate it. Refunds are not available for a change of mind after content has been accessed, or for partial unused periods of an active plan.
To request a refund, write to us at the email address mentioned on our contact page with the reason for the request and your payment details (order reference or invoice number). Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–7 business days, and a credit note is emailed to you for your records.
For ebooks (ebooks.prernaforias.com), because these are digital goods delivered instantly, all eBook sales are generally final. We will refund an eBook purchase if you were charged but did not receive access to it (delivery failure), you were charged more than once for the same order due to a technical error, or the delivered file is corrupted or unreadable and cannot be replaced. Refunds are not offered for a change of mind after purchase, an accidental purchase of the wrong eBook, or failure to read the product description before purchase. To request an eBook refund, write to us within 7 days of purchase with your order reference; approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–7 business days.
