1. Iron Ore

2. Manganese
Manganese is an important metallic mineral used mainly in the production of steel and various alloys. It improves the strength, hardness, and durability of steel. India has significant manganese reserves in states such as Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Odisha. Apart from steel manufacturing, manganese is also used in batteries, chemicals, glass, and ceramics industries. It plays a vital role in industrial development and economic growth. Due to its widespread industrial applications, manganese is considered a strategic mineral resource.
