E-SAMUDRA: DIGITAL MODERNISATION OF INDIA’S MARITIME ADMINISTRATION
Context: India is accelerating the digital transformation of its maritime sector through e-Samudra, a unified online platform developed under the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways (MoPSW). It functions through the Directorate General of Shipping (DGS) and provides integrated digital services to seafarers, shipowners and other maritime stakeholders.
