Discovery of Two New Species of Lichen Moths in India
Context
Scientists from the Zoological Survey of India (ZSI) have recently discovered two new species of lichen moths in the Eastern Himalayas. The newly identified species are Caulocera hollowayi and Asura buxa. The discovery highlights the rich biodiversity of the Himalayan region and the continuing efforts of Indian scientists to document previously unknown species.
