Artemis II Mission
Context
The Artemis II mission, planned by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), is scheduled for launch in April 2026. It will mark the first crewed mission to travel around the Moon since the Apollo program ended in 1972. The mission forms an important step in NASA’s broader lunar exploration programme called the Artemis Program.
