1. India–EU FTA negotiations near conclusion
The lead story reports that India and the European Union have effectively concluded negotiations for a long-pending Free Trade Agreement. Senior officials on both sides indicate that the “political deal” is done and only technical “legal scrubbing” and translation into EU languages remain before ratification.
