1. दिल्ली में जल संकट और यमुना पर बढ़ती निर्भरता
दिल्ली के कई इलाकों में पानी का गंभीर संकट उत्पन्न हो गया है क्योंकि वजीराबाद रिजर्वायर का जलस्तर लगातार घटकर संकटपूर्ण स्थिति में पहुंच गया। जल बोर्ड को दूसरे प्लांटों से पानी डायवर्ट करना पड़ा, जिससे बाहरी और पश्चिमी दिल्ली के क्षेत्रों में भी सप्लाई प्रभावित हुई। यह स्थिति केवल मौसमी समस्या नहीं बल्कि शहरी जल प्रबंधन की कमजोरी को दर्शाती है। तेजी से बढ़ती आबादी, यमुना में घटता जल प्रवाह, भूजल दोहन और राज्यों के बीच जल विवाद इस संकट को और गंभीर बना रहे हैं। विशेषज्ञों का मानना है कि दिल्ली को केवल आपातकालीन प्रबंधन नहीं बल्कि दीर्घकालिक जल नीति, वर्षा जल संचयन, रिसाइक्लिंग और जल संरक्षण पर जोर देना होगा। यह संकट जलवायु परिवर्तन और अनियोजित शहरीकरण के संयुक्त प्रभाव को भी सामने लाता है।
