SPACE SCIENCE
1. What is Space Science? (अंतरिक्ष विज्ञान क्या है?)
Space science is the branch of science that studies the universe and all celestial objects present in it, such as planets, stars, galaxies, satellites, comets, and asteroids. It helps scientists understand the origin, structure, and behavior of the cosmos. Space science also involves the development of technologies used for space exploration and observation. Through telescopes, satellites, and spacecraft, researchers gather valuable information about distant objects and cosmic phenomena. This field has greatly expanded human knowledge and has contributed to advancements in communication, navigation, weather forecasting, and scientific research that benefit everyday life.
2. Structure of the Universe (ब्रह्मांड की संरचना)
The universe is an immense space containing billions of galaxies, stars, planets, and other celestial bodies. Galaxies are large systems of stars, gas, dust, and dark matter bound together by gravity. Stars produce light and energy, while planets revolve around stars. Moons orbit planets, and smaller objects such as asteroids, comets, and meteoroids are also present. Scientists believe the universe began with the Big Bang about 13.8 billion years ago. Understanding the structure of the universe helps us learn about cosmic evolution, the formation of celestial bodies, and humanity’s place in the vast cosmos.
3. Solar System (सौरमंडल)
The Solar System consists of the Sun and all celestial bodies that revolve around it. It includes eight planets: Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune. Earth is the only known planet that supports life. Besides planets, the Solar System contains moons, asteroids, comets, and dwarf planets such as Pluto. The Sun is the central star and provides heat and light to all planets. Gravity keeps all objects in orbit around the Sun. The Solar System formed abou
