1. A Humble Beginning
Chandragupta Maurya was born around 340 BCE and is believed to have come from a modest background. Recognizing Chandragupta’s talent and leadership potential, he decided to train and guide him. Chanakya taught him warfare, administration, diplomacy, and statecraft. Together, they developed a vision of overthrowing unjust rulers and establishing a powerful empire. Chanakya’s wisdom and Chandragupta’s courage formed a remarkable partnership that changed Indian history. Their collaboration laid the foundation for the Mauryan Empire and demonstrated the importance of knowledge, planning, and determination in achieving great goals.
