Ajatashatru was one of the most powerful rulers of the Haryanka dynasty and the son of King Bimbisara of Magadha. He ruled during the 5th century BCE and played a major role in transforming Magadha into a dominant kingdom in ancient India. Known for his military strength, political intelligence, and administrative skills, he expanded the territory of Magadha through successful campaigns and strategic alliances. His name "Ajatashatru" means “one whose enemy is unborn,” symbolizing his strength and fearlessness.
