TEN CRITICAL QUESTIONS ON CURRENT GEOPLOITICAL AND NATIONAL ISSUES – 128
1. Should pellet guns be completely banned for crowd control?
Answer: Pellet guns can cause blindness, permanent injury and even death. Therefore, they should never become a routine crowd-control weapon. However, the Supreme Court has indicated that their use may be examined within a graded response framework in exceptional situations.
