The SHe-Box Portal is a digital grievance redressal platform launched by the Ministry of Women and Child Development to address complaints of sexual harassment at the workplace. It provides a single-window system for filing and tracking complaints, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Salient Features: The portal allows women from government, private, and even unorganised sectors to file complaints directly. Once registered, complaints are automatically forwarded to the concerned Internal Committee (IC) or Local Committee (LC), removing intermediaries. It also offers real-time tracking and acts as a central data repository for institutions to upload compliance reports under the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace Act 2013. Integration with the Mission Shakti app improves accessibility.
