Background
KBR National Park is one of India’s most significant urban national parks, located in the heart of Hyderabad between the upscale localities of Jubilee Hills and Banjara Hills. The area originally formed part of the private estate of the Nizam of Hyderabad. After receiving approval from the Central Government, it was officially declared a national park in 1998 and named after former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Kasu Brahmananda Reddy.
