India’s First PM MITRA Park
The inauguration of India’s first functional PM MITRA Park at Warangal in Telangana marks a major step in strengthening India’s textile manufacturing ecosystem. PM MITRA stands for Pradhan Mantri Mega Integrated Textile Region and Apparel Park. The scheme is being implemented by the Ministry of Textiles with a total outlay of ₹4,445 crore for the period 2021–22 to 2027–28.
