DRDO Successfully Flight Tests VSHORADS Defence System
India recently achieved a significant milestone in indigenous defence capability when the Defence Research and Development Organisation successfully conducted flight tests of the VSHORADS (Very Short-Range Air Defence System). The system is a man-portable air defence system (MANPADS) designed to neutralize low-altitude aerial threats such as aircraft, helicopters, and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
