Crime in India 2024 Report
The National Crime Records Bureau recently released the Crime in India 2024 Report, presenting important trends in law and order, cyber security, and social justice across India. The report recorded around 58.85 lakh cognisable crimes in 2024, showing a decline of nearly 6% compared to 2023. The overall crime rate per lakh population also declined, indicating some improvement in policing and reporting mechanisms.
