BAM-H24 — INDIA’S NEXT-GENERATION SOLID ROCKET PROPELLANT MATERIAL
Context
Researchers from the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and the University of Hyderabad’s Advanced Centre of Research in High Energy Materials (ACRHEM) have received an Indian patent for BAM-H24, a new boron-, hydrogen- and nitrogen-rich energetic compound intended for advanced solid rocket propulsion. The patent was granted on 20 August 2026.
