1. Delhi High Court questions police action against student protesters
The Delhi High Court sought an explanation from the Delhi Police regarding its handling of student protests over the alleged NEET paper leak and related irregularities. Petitioners alleged that demonstrators were beaten with lathis, subjected to electric batons and physically restrained despite participating in a political protest.
