Heavy rainfall triggered devastating flash floods and landslides across parts of Jammu and Kashmir, killing at least eleven people and causing widespread destruction to homes, roads, bridges and public infrastructure. The Pir Panjal region was among the worst affected, with overflowing streams, mudslides and road blockages disrupting rescue operations.
