1. Extension of Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of Electoral Rolls
The Election Commission of India (ECI) extended the deadline for the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in five States and one Union Territory, citing requests from Chief Electoral Officers.
