अयोध्या में राम मंदिर के चढ़ावे की कथित चोरी के मामले में पुलिस ने आरोपियों के घरों पर छापेमारी कर नकदी और आभूषण बरामद किए। जांच एजेंसियां पूरे नेटवर्क और धन के प्रवाह की जांच कर रही हैं। यह मामला केवल चोरी तक सीमित नहीं है, बल्कि धार्मिक संस्थानों में वित्तीय पारदर्शिता और जवाबदेही पर भी गंभीर प्रश्न उठाता है।
इस घटना का तर्क यह है कि करोड़ों श्रद्धालुओं के विश्वास से जुड़े धार्मिक संस्थानों में वित्तीय प्रबंधन अत्यंत पारदर्शी होना चाहिए। संपादकीय दृष्टिकोण यह संकेत देता है कि धार्मिक आस्था और प्रशासनिक जवाबदेही परस्पर विरोधी नहीं, बल्कि एक-दूसरे के पूरक हैं। नियमित ऑडिट, डिजिटल लेखा-जोखा, सीसीटीवी निगरानी तथा स्वतंत्र निरीक्षण व्यवस्था अनिवार्य होनी चाहिए। इसका सार यह है कि जनविश्वास तभी मजबूत रहेगा जब धार्मिक संस्थानों में भी सुशासन, पारदर्शिता और कानून का समान रूप से पालन सुनिश्चित किया जाए।
