1. अकाल तख्त का आदेश: आनंद कारज केवल गुरुद्वारों में
अकाल तख्त साहिब ने वर्ष की अंतिम बैठक में सिख मर्यादाओं को सख्ती से लागू करते हुए यह स्पष्ट किया कि आनंद कारज केवल गुरुद्वारों में ही संपन्न होगा, पार्कों, होटलों या व्यावसायिक स्थलों में नहीं। यह निर्णय सिख धार्मिक परंपराओं की पवित्रता बनाए रखने के उद्देश्य से लिया गया है। तर्क यह दिया गया कि खुले या व्यावसायिक स्थलों पर होने वाले विवाह धार्मिक संस्कार को सामाजिक-मनोरंजन में बदल देते हैं। अख़बार की दृष्टि में यह आदेश धार्मिक अनुशासन और पहचान की रक्षा की दिशा में है, हालांकि आधुनिक शहरी जीवन में इसकी व्यावहारिक चुनौतियाँ भी होंगी। कुल मिलाकर, यह फैसला सिख संस्थाओं के आत्मानुशासन और धार्मिक मर्यादा को पुनर्स्थापित करने का प्रयास है।
