This follows the Rajya Sabha Chairman’s controversial move to acknowledge the Opposition's impeachment notice—leading to Vice President Dhankhar’s abrupt resignation. Legal experts clarified that simultaneous motions in both Houses require committee formation by both presiding officers, but procedural confusion ensued as Dhankhar allegedly did not “admit” the motion formally.
