UKRAINE–NORWAY ELLISIV ACCORD — DEEPENING DEFENCE AND STRATEGIC COOPERATION
Context
On 23 August 2026, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre signed two important documents in Kyiv: an Agreement on Defence and Security Cooperation under the “Drone Deal” format and a Joint Declaration on Strategic Partnership, called the Ellisiv Accord. The signing took place during the Ukraine–Nordic-Baltic Eight summit.
