National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has launched PRASHAST 2.0 (Pre-Assessment Holistic Screening Tool) mobile application to strengthen inclusive education and early identification of disabilities among school children. The application has been developed by the Central Institute of Educational Technology (CIET) under the Ministry of Education.
PRASHAST is a digital screening and assessment platform designed to identify children with disabilities at an early stage within the school system. It aims to bridge the gap between classroom observation by teachers and formal medical certification. The app supports the vision of the National Education Policy 2020, especially the principle of “No Child Left Behind.”
