NASA Artemis II Mission
The Artemis II mission, scheduled for launch in April 2026 from the Kennedy Space Center, marks a historic return of human spaceflight to the vicinity of the Moon after more than five decades since the Apollo programme (last mission in 1972). Led by NASA, it is a 10-day crewed mission designed to orbit the Moon without landing, serving as a critical precursor to future lunar surface missions.
