India–UAE Gold Agreement
The India–UAE Gold Agreement is an important component of the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA), which came into force in May 2022. The agreement aims to strengthen bilateral trade and deepen economic integration between India and the United Arab Emirates. One of its major provisions relates to concessional import of gold from the UAE into India.
