On 4 July 2026, the Prime Minister inaugurated India's first Greenfield Integrated Refinery-cum-Petrochemical Complex at Pachpadra, Balotra district, Rajasthan. Developed by HPCL Rajasthan Refinery Limited (HRRL), it marks a major milestone in India's energy and industrial infrastructure. HRRL is a joint venture between Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) (74%) and the Government of Rajasthan (26%).
