Dhimsa Dance is one of the most vibrant and culturally significant tribal folk dances of India, performed mainly by the indigenous communities of the Araku Valley and the Eastern Ghats of Andhra Pradesh. It is a lively group dance that reflects the close relationship between tribal communities, nature, agriculture and collective living. The word 'Dhimsa' literally means "the sound of footsteps," symbolising rhythmic movement and harmony among dancers.
