Breakthrough Prize 2026: Advancing Frontiers of Science
The 14th edition of the Breakthrough Prize—often called the “Oscars of Science”—recognized outstanding achievements across Life Sciences, Fundamental Physics, and Mathematics, with a total award of $18.75 million and $3 million for each main prize. Established in 2013 by global technology leaders such as Mark Zuckerberg and Sergey Brin, the prize aims to elevate scientists as public role models and inspire future generations.
