On 7 September 2026, Tata Boeing Aerospace Limited (TBAL) rolled out the 400th AH-64E Apache fuselage from its Hyderabad facility. TBAL is a joint venture between Boeing and Tata Advanced Systems Limited (TASL). The milestone highlights India’s growing role in the global aerospace and defence manufacturing supply chain.
Background
TBAL was established in 2016 to manufacture major aerostructures for the Apache attack helicopter. Its Hyderabad facility uses advanced robotics, automation and precision aerospace manufacturing. The company had already crossed the 300-fuselage milestone in 2025, showing a steady expansion of production capacity.
